Mattress

image Cleaning

A mattress collects sweat, skin cells and dust-mite allergens that a vacuum never reaches. We treat the surface with an anti-allergen solution, agitate it into the top layers and extract it back out along with the debris it lifts — both sides where the mattress can be turned. While we are set up, the rest of the soft furniture in the room is cleaned the same way: upholstered bed frames and headboards, benches, ottomans and window seats, plus curtains and drapes left on the rail. A deodorising rinse finishes the job and everything is dry in a few hours.

How we clean it

01
01

Inspect and
vacuum

We look the mattress over for stains and damage, then HEPA-vacuum the surface, sides and seams to remove dust and skin debris.

02

Anti-allergen
pre-treatment

An anti-allergen solution is misted over the surface and worked into the top layers to break down dust-mite matter and sweat residue.

03

Low-moisture
extraction

The solution is drawn back out with a hand tool, carrying the loosened debris with it — both sides where the mattress can be turned.

04

Soft furniture
in the room

Upholstered bed frames, headboards, benches, ottomans and curtains left on the rail are cleaned the same way while we are set up.

05

Deodorize
and dry

A light deodorizing rinse finishes it, air movers go on, and everything is dry within a few hours.

Four to six hours for most jobs, and we bring air movers to speed it up. Upholstery is usually usable the same evening; we check the moisture level with a meter before we leave, so nothing stays damp overnight.

Yes. We treat the padding and backing, not just the surface, with an enzyme solution that breaks the odor source down instead of masking it. Old, repeated accidents may need a second pass — we will tell you honestly on site.

Cotton, linen, microfiber, chenille, velvet, synthetic blends, wool and silk. Delicate and natural fibers get a low-moisture method, and we always test for colorfastness in a hidden spot before anything touches the visible fabric.

Most rugs are cleaned right where they lie. Heavily soiled wool, silk or hand-knotted rugs do better in our workshop — we pick up, clean, dry flat and deliver back, usually within a week.

We serve the entire city — from Rogers Park down to Hyde Park — plus the near suburbs: Evanston, Oak Park, Skokie, Cicero, Berwyn and Naperville. Not sure about your ZIP code? Just ask.

Some deep stains wick back up as the pile dries. Tell us within 14 days and we return to re-treat the spot free of charge. Our team is background-checked and we are licensed, bonded and insured in the State of Illinois.

Yes — that's a core part of what we do. Book a one-off deep clean, a move-in or move-out, a short-let turnover, or a recurring weekly or fortnightly visit. We bring our own equipment and supplies.
